Hey TV buffs. Ormax has released the list of most-liked Hindi TV shows of the week on Tuesday (January 31). Can you guess which show topped the charts? Well, we have to tell you that it was a neck-to-neck fight between three popular shows belonging to different genres. While one is a hit reality show, another is a drama that has been hogging all the limelight since its inception. However, both the shows failed to secure the top spot in the new week.
It was a sitcom, which emerged as the most-liked Hindi TV show of the week. Yes, you read that right! Before we tell you the name of the show that has taken the numero uno spot, we would like to share the list of other shows that also impressed the viewers.
The Kapil Sharma, Indian Idol 13, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Radha Mohan and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin were able to find a spot in the coveted list of Most-liked Hindi TV shows (Jan 21-27) based on audience engagement.
Bigg Boss 16 At Number Three 3
With a score of 70, Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16 became the most-liked reality show on Indian television. BB 16 is now inching closer towards its grand finale and all eyes are now on the winner, who will lift the trophy. While Indian Idol 13 and The Kapil Sharma Show are also generating buzz, Bigg Boss 16 has been unstoppable since its inception.
The non-fiction show, which is hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has been also performing quite well in terms of TRPs. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shiv Thakare, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Archana Gautam have emerged as the most favourite contestants of the season.
Anupamaa At Number 2
Star Plus' drama Anupamaa also registered a score of 70 in Ormax's list that was released earlier in the day. The show starring Gaurav Khanna, Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey took the second spot in the popularity charts. The new twist surrounding Maya's entry has captured the attention of the viewers, who are curious to know if she will take away Choti Anu from Anupamaa and Anuj Kapadia.
Chhavi Pandey has entered Anupamaa as Maya, who will try to take Choti Anu' custody for MaAn in the hit daily soap, which has been dominating the TRP charts.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Tops List
Old is gold and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah proves the saying right. At a time when many shows have faced the axe on different channels, TMKOC has been entertaining the viewers for over fourteen years. 2023 is quite special as the hit sitcom will complete fifteen years of successful run in July.
Despite Disha Vakani's absence, Taarak Mehta has managed to keep the viewers engaged, courtesy of its interesting tracks and comic episodes. The sitcom starring Dilip Joshi received a rating of 74 in Ormax's list of most-liked Hindi TV shows.
