The two lovebirds parted ways after Maya snatched Choti Anu from them and created troubles in their relationship. Anuj and Anupama couldn't face the high tide in their marital life and ended up spliting with each other.

As the fans are upset with Maya, they flooded the comments section of Chhavi Pandey's post when they saw her photo with Gaurav Khanna. One user wrote, "You can never be maan so please don't post such post on maan day. We have started hating anupama show because of maya track. Makers please stop this nonsense."

Another commented, "See I'm not saying anything wrong to the actors or something..i very well understand the difference btw reel and real..but what u guys are trying to do is not good..see there are maan fans that feel so bad cause they were actually so attached to them ..you could have posted this some other day that's what ppl are saying.. posting on maan day breaks hearts .. pls we know u know ppl celebrate maan day for real.. pls I'm not being rude.. so don't bash over me (sic)."
