Bhupinder Singh Arrest: Television actor Bhupinder Singh and his associates have been arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor following a murder resulting from a dispute over the felling of trees. Bhupinder randomly fired from his licensed revolver, resulting in the death of one young man and injuries to three others. Acting on the complaint filed by the deceased's uncle, the police registered a case against TV actor Bhupendra and took him into custody. The search is ongoing for two of his other accomplices who are still not found.
TV ACTOR BHUPINDER SINGH ARREST REASON
The village of Kuankheda Khadri is the residence of Bhupinder Singh, son of Pritam Singh, who also owns a farmhouse there. Adjacent to Gurdeep Singh's home, a eucalyptus tree on the edge of the land sparked a dispute on Sunday about whose property it was. During the altercation, matters escalated, and Bhupinder fired from a licensed handgun.
Gobind Singh, Gurdeep Singh's 22-year-old son, tragically lost his life instantly, while Gurdeep Singh, his wife Meerabai, and their son Amrik, also known as Buta Singh, sustained serious injuries.
Upon receiving the information, DIG Muniraj promptly visited the scene to assess the condition of the injured. Late that night, a murder case was filed against Bhupinder and his domestic help Gyan Singh, Jeevan Singh, and Gurjar Singh based on the allegation of Gurdeep's brother Jeet. Gyan Singh was taken into custody by the police later that evening.
The accused Bhupinder Singh and Gyan Singh, who were apprehended, were presented in court on Monday, while Jeevan Singh and Gurjar Singh remain at large.
WHO IS BHUPINDER SINGH?
For those who are unaware, Bhupinder initiated his career with the TV show Jai Mahabharat and has since appeared in various TV shows such as 857 Kranti, Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Ek Haseena Thi, Tere Sheher Mein, and Kaala Tika among others. He played the pivotal role of Gaurav Khanna's father in Colors TV's Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam co-starring Yami Gautam.
In addition, Bhupendra has ventured into Bollywood, featuring in the 1998 film Sham Ghansham and playing supporting roles in Hindi films like Soch and Yuvraaj.
