Audiences Should Understand…: Anupamaa Star On Received HATE After Turning Against Rupali Ganguly’s Character

Anupamaa Update: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Dhahi's Director's Kut Productions, premiered on Star Plus in 2020 and has been topping the TRP charts since then.

To make the family drama more interesting and entertaining for fans, its creators have been introducing new twists, however, the loyal viewers are currently no too happy with the current track of Anupamaa.

The separation of everyone's favourite couple, Anuj and Anupama, has left everyone heartbroken. However, Anupama has decided to move on in life and live on her own terms thanks to her mother's support.

NISHI SAXENA AKA DIMPY TURNS AGAINST ANUPAMA

Amid separation from Anuj, even Samar isn't supporting Anupama like before due to his love for Dimpy. While Anupama helped Dimpy in he lowest time, even she has turned against her and took over the dance academy.

Dimpy was offended by Anupama and Toshu's interference in the affairs of the dance academy. She believed that she had worked hard in their absence and felt that the name of the academy should be changed as it was causing negative publicity.

Anupamaa fans aren't happy with the mean avatar of Dimpy and are bashing her on social media. In a recent interview, Nisha Saxena, who plays the character of Dimpy, opened up about receiving hatred and negative comments from viewers.

NISHA SAXENA ON GETTING HATE MESSAGES, NEGATIVE COMMENTS

According to Nishi, Dimpy hasn't turned entirely negative and has her reasons to behave like this.

Talking to India Forums about the hate her character is receiving, she stated, "I'm not reading hate comments. I've not opened my Twitter account. Initially, there were messages stating that Dimpy shouldn't be so mean and should remember how Anupamaa helped her in her lowest. I feel audiences should understand that it is not the actor who's willingly doing stuff but that it is a work of fiction. The script is written in a certain way, and we're expected only to perform."
