Previous Actor Was Better…: Anupamaa Actor Sagar Parekh Aka Samar Reveals Getting Trolled For Supporting Dimpy

Anupamaa Update: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's Star Plus show Anupamaa has been topping the charts continuously thanks to the interesting twists and turns introduced by the makers.

Produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions, the much-loved family drama currently revolves around Anuj Kapadia and Anupama's separation which has left viewers heartbroken. While Anupama finally decides to start afresh, everyone is surprised by Dimpy's changed behaviour.

After Barkha's manipulations, Dimpy snatched Anupama's dance academy and disrespected her. Not just that, she has announced her wedding to Samar in front of the whole Shah family and added that no one can now stop them from getting hitched.

Amid all this, viewers are also surprised by the changed behaviour of Anupama's 'laadla' Samar. Even he's not stopping Dimpy. Actor Sagar Parekh, who is essaying the character of Samar in Anupamaa, opened up about the ongoing track in a recent interview and revealed getting trolled on social media.

Talking about the sudden changes in Samar, Sagar appreciates the fact that the creators of Anupamaa refrain from idealizing their characters and opt for a more realistic approach.

According to him, the characters are flawed like real people, and they make mistakes, just like Samar, Anuj, and Dimpy did in recent episodes. The show reflects the imperfection of human nature and the unpredictability of our actions. It highlights the misunderstandings that arise due to different perspectives on a situation. Ultimately, the current track portrays the complexity of human relationships and the challenges that come with them.

SAGAR PAREKH ON GETTING TROLLED BY VIEWERS

The actor also opened up about getting trolled on social media after the current track in the top-rated show. People are even comparing him to Paras Kalnawat, who initially essayed the role of Samar.

Sharing the same, he further told India Forums, "As an actor, I have complete faith in the writers. They're far more researched and knowledgeable and know how to keep the viewers hooked. I'm sure they've planned something better for the character in the future. My job is to perform convincingly and that's what I'm doing. And with the kind of response from the fans, I'm sure that the twist is working in our favour. They're curious, affected and hooked to the show."
