Starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna as Anupama and Anuj, respectively, this family drama consistently attracted a substantial viewership for the channel since its inception.

Interestingly, the landscape has shifted, with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin now surpassing Anupamaa in TRP ratings. Rupali Ganguly's beloved drama has lost its title as the reigning champion. But, the creative team behind Rajan Shahi's show is preparing to unveil a series of plot twists and turns, aiming to reclaim the top position.

5-YEARS-LEAP LEAP IN ANUPAMAA

As reported earlier, Anupamaa is set to take a generation leap after which Rupali will be seen finally taking a flight to America. In the ongoing track, Anupama rescues Choti Anu, Kinjal, and Pari from a car accident. Besides the Shah family's displeasure with her actions, Choti Anu is upset with Anupama for prioritizing Kinjal and Pari's safety over hers in that critical situation.

As per the ongoing speculations, Choti Anu is going to play a pivotal role in Anuj and Anupama's separation ahead of the leap. According to a report in Telly Express, Malti Devi is going to add fuel to the fire which is going to affect the relationship of MaAn. However, it is not yet confirmed and official information regarding the same is still awaited from the makers' side.

After the leap, Barrister Babu star Aurra Bhatnagar is reportedly going to play the role of Choti Anu. As hinted in the promo, Anuj and Anupama are likely to meet each other in America after the leap and it'll be interesting to see how they'll react after reuniting after five years.
