Anupamaa’s Gaurav Khanna Reveals Rupali Ganguly First Reaction On Meeting Him: She Said ‘Ye To Mere Bete…’

Anupamaa is one of the most talked about loved daily soaps on Indian television and there are no second thoughts about it. As of now, Anupamaa is witnessing an interesting track wherein Anupama (played by Rupali Ganguly) and Anuj Kapadia (played by Gaurav Khanna) have parted ways. While the track has got everyone hooked, Gaurav has now opened up about his first meeting with Rupali.

For the uninitiated, Anuj and Anupamaa have been facing a tough time in their married life and have parted ways as of now which has left the audience heartbroken. It goes without saying that fans are in awe of Anuj and Anupama's bond. And while fans continue to shower love on this jodi, Gaurav has now left the fans intrigued as he opened up about Rupali's first reaction after meeting him on the sets of Anupamaa.

During his recent interview with Telly Masala, Gaurav revealed how Anupama ended up saying that he is like her son during their first meeting. "Rupali Ji ke saath mera pehla show hai aur maine jab pehli baar unke saath look test me aaya tha jab Anuj Kapadia ki entry nahi hui thi aur mai set pe gaya tha to mai 2-3 ghante baitha tha wahan kyunki Rupali ji ka scene chal raha tha. Main kisi ko jaanta nahi tha set pe. Jab mai set pe pahuncha to she was very warm and welcoming. Mujhe sabse zyada hasi aati hai... jab main unse pehli baar mila to unke pehle alfaaz the...'Arey ye to mere beta lag raha hai'. Mujhe itni hasi aayi. Maine kaha 'Rupali Ji.. thanks. Main yahan pe Anuj Kapadia ke kirdaar me aaya hu jo actually Anupama ka beta nahi hai'. Wo hum log abhi bhi haste hain," he was quoted saying.

Earlier, Rupali had revealed that she was age shamed after being paired opposite Gaurav on Anupamaa. "I even got comments on social media, "Oh she is fat, she is looking older than Anuj," she stated. However, the actress remains unfazed and believes Anupamaa has given her a second lease of life.
