Wondering what happened? Well, a popular actress has decided to make an exit from Anupamaa. Yes, you read that right! Amid rumours of her quitting the serial, she has confirmed that she is leaving the show and might come back if needed.

We are talking about Nidhi Shah. The TV diva, who plays the role of Kinjal, spilled the beans on bidding adieu to the show, which made her a household name.

She said that she made an exit because there wasn't much scope for her character to do in the current track. "If I don't come back, I would be happy with my journey with Anupamaa," Nidhi told ETimes.

After Nidhi left the show, gossip mills started buzzing with the rumours that she would make her entry in the Bigg Boss 17 house as a wildcard contestant. Is Nidhi entering the show as a wildcard? There's no official confirmation about the same and the actress has also remained tight-lipped about the development.

There are mumours that Poonam Pandey, Rakhi Sawant, Adil Khan Durrani, Jahanara Alam, Bhavin Bhanushali, Flora Saini and Adhyayan Suman have been approached for Bigg Boss season 17. Interestingly, Tassnim Nerukar, who played Nidhi's on-screen mother in Anupamaa, has also reportedly received the offer from Colors channel and the production house.
