Anupamaa Star NOT Happy With Her Role, Confirms Looking For New Show, Says ‘Don’t Have Much To…’
Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa has been topping the TRP charts ever since its premiere in 2020. However, a prominent cast member is unhappy with her track and has confirmed that she is looking for a new show.
Anupamaa Update: After teaming up with Star Plus for big hits like Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, producer Rajan Shahi launched Anupamaa in 2020 with Rupali Ganguly essaying the titular role in it.
Also featuring Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna, and Madalsa Sharma in pivotal parts, the family drama has been getting a great response from viewers since the beginning and has been a regular TRP topper.
While Rupali is enjoying all the love and attention coming her way for her strong performance, a prominent cast member is not happy. Well, we're talking about Tassnim Sheikh who has been playing the interesting character of Kinjal's (Nidhi Shah) mother Rakhi Dave. Yes, you read that right!
According to the latest buzz, Tassnim isn't happy with her current track in Anupamaa and feels that she hasn't much to do. Since she barely had anything interesting to do in the last few months, the talented actress is now looking for a new show.
Well, hold your horses! She isn't going to quit Anupamaa and will be managing both the shows together. Talking about the same, Tassnim told ETimes, Initially, I had a strong role and played the vamp in the show. One who was always creating trouble and taunting Anupama. I am glad that the production house chose me for this role. And I also understand that your track cannot be in focus every day. But, in the past few months, I do not not have much to do in the show. Of course I will continue working with them, but I now want to take up some other projects too because I have time on hand."
The actress has already shared her concern with the production house and the makers are okay with her decision of taking up another show besides Anupamaa.
Revealing the same, Tassnim added, "The creative team has also agreed and they are okay if I take up something else along with this. I have no plans to quit Anupamaa, but I feel since I can manage to do other things along with it, then why not?"
For the unversed, Tassnim plays the role of Mrs Dave in Anupamaa who can cross all the limits for her daughter. Her character provides 'masala' to the show and the actress' performance has always earned apprecition.
