With Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna portraying the iconic roles of Anupama and Anuj Kapadia respectively, this family drama has consistently dominated the TRP charts almost every week from the very start.

The creative team of Anupamaa introduced numerous twists and turns to enhance the entertainment value for their dedicated fan base. As evident in the latest promos, the team has now unveiled the most significant twist in the storyline following the separation of Anupama and Anuj. Yes, you guessed it right - we're referring to the shocking demise of Samar.

While the viewers are not able to come to terms with Samar's death as he's been a support system to Anupama, actor Sagar Parekh and producer Rajan Shahi have confirmed that it is indeed happened. As Sagar's exit from the top-rated Star Plus show has been confirmed, his co-star Alpana Buch opened up about the shooting of Samar's death sequence in a recent interview.

Revealing her first reaction to Samar's death track, Alpana told Tellychakkar, "Anyone will not like it when a character and an actor exits from the show. There is a bond which is created as we work together almost every day for months and years. This sequence was required to move the story forward. But we are definitely not happy that Samar is dying."

The actress added that the environment on Anupamaa set is currently not great and her blood pressure went down during the shoot of Samar's death sequence. Yes, you read that right! She stated, "Yes, the atmosphere here is not that great. I was not feeling good. My blood pressure had shot up and I was throwing up. My condition was not good. It was not just me but everyone was quite low."

Talking about her bonding with Sagar Parekh, Alpana concluded, "My journey with Sagar has been extremely wonderful. This one year passed within a blink of an eye. He is a very nice, well-behaved and a cultured boy."
