Amid the drama in Anupamaa, Viraj Kapoor has entered the show as Romil. His entry has brought a new change in the storyline. There are mumours that Anuj and Anupama might ask him to stay with them as they wish to bring to transform him.

Romil is Ankush's illegitimate son and hence, Barkha hates him. She wishes to remove him from her and Ankush's lives and therefore, she has made plans. Ankush had an extra-marital affair with a lady, following which Romil was born.
