Rupali Ganguly, Rajan Shahi and other artists have confirmed Sagar Parekh's exit. Sonu, the new entry in Anupamaa, fired a bullet at Anuj but Samar died while saving him. Vanraj will accuse Anuj of being the reason for Samar's death.

A scene from Anupamaa went viral on the internet where Rupali Ganguly can be seen crying profusely after losing her on-screen son. It was an emotional moment for the artists and the audience as Samar died in Anupamaa, leaving everyone shattered. Considering he was a pillar of support for Anupama before Anuj came into her life.
