Anupamaa: Is Tassnim Aka Rakhi Dave LEAVING Rupali Ganguly’s Hit Show? Actress Breaks Silence

Anupamaa News: Since its premiere in 2020, the family drama Anupamaa, featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna and produced by Rajan Shahi, has been captivating fans. With its consistent dominance on the TRP charts, the show has continuously strived to provide an engaging and enjoyable experience for viewers.

The top-rated show Anupamaa currently focuses on Anupama's upcoming journey to the United States alongside Malti Devi. While she was excited to finally fulfill her dream, Maya's (Chhavi Pandey) unexpected demise left Shah and Kapadia families shocked.

While everyone is currently mourning her death in Anupamaa, a prominent character has been absent from all the happenings in the hit daily soap. Well, we're talking about Kinjal's (Nidhi Shah) mother Rakhi Dave.

WHY TASSNIM AKA RAKHI DAVE IS MISSING FROM ANUPAMAA?

Well-known TV actress Tassnim Nerurkar won many hearts for her performance as Rakhe Dave in Anupamaa. The character has always been a recurring one, however, it's been a long time ever since we've seen Rakhi Dave giving it back to Baa and Vanraj in her own way.

While her absence has left wondering if she has left the hit show, the actress in a recent interview has revealed that she's looking for new and interesting roles. However, she has not yet quit Anupamaa and will return if and when her character is needed in the storyline.

ANUPAMAA ACTRESS TASSNIM LOOKING FOR NEW PROJECTS

On being asked if the Anupamaa makers are fine with her decision to look out for new projects, Tassnim told ETimes, "Yes yes, I've been given a green signal by my team to take up if I want to take up something. I will only take up a project that I really like. In all these years I have only taken up something that really clicks, which I really want to do, unless and until I want to do something I will not take it up so my days are free. I'm open to offers, I'm open to taking up anything which will make me leave my house and go to set like I go to play Rakhi Dave, which is exciting and has depth to the role."

Whether as Rakhi Dave or in a new character, here's hoping to see the actress back on our TV screens very soon.
