Earlier this year, Anupamaa achieved a significant milestone by completing three successful years and reaching the remarkable landmark of 1000 episodes. To keep the show engaging for its dedicated viewers, the creative team regularly introduces captivating twists and turns.

For those unfamiliar with the ongoing storyline, Anupamaa recently revolved around the sensitive issue of domestic violence, portraying the distressing situation in which Adhik (Adhik Mehta) subjects his wife, Pakhi (Muskan Bamne), to physical and emotional abuse.

While the track was still going on, the makers shocked everyone by unveiling a new promo showing Samar's shocking death. In the clip, Vanraj blames Anuj as Samar breathes his last while saving him. Since then, the viewers are confused if Sagar Parekh is indeed bidding adieu to Anupamaa or if there will be another twist in the storyline.

In a recent interview, Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi finally confirmed Samar's death and called it the biggest twist in the story so far. Later in the day, Sagar Parekh also revealed that his character is dying in the show and he's content with his journey.

RAJAN SHAHI HINTS AT ANOTHER SEPARATION BETWEEN ANUPAMA-ANUJ

Amid all this, there are constant rumours about another separation track between Anuj and Anupama after Samar's death. Rajan Shahi also reacted to it and hinted at MaAn's separation. Talking to IWMBuzz about the same, he said, "Yes, there will be distancing."

Before Samar's demise, his wife Dimpy will be shown pregnant. There are chances that she might turn out to be the new villain in Anuj's life and will avenge Samar's death. However, there's no confirmation on the same yet.
