Gaurav Khanna News: Rajan Shahi's Star Plus show Anupamaa, featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna in the lead roles, is currently going through the most interesting yet heartbreaking track so far.
Well, the unimaginable has happened and everyone's favourites Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) have parted ways in the much-loved family drama. While Anuj waited for Anupama for 26 years, he couldn't bear the pain of losing his daughter, Choti Anu.
In the difficult phase, he blamed Anupama for not stopping Maya from taking Anu away from them. As per the ongoing track, Anuj is currently in Mumbai with Maya and Choti Anu while Anupama has decided to move on in life and start afresh with the support of her mother.

As the upcoming track is going to revolve around the new innings in Anupama's life, there were several speculations around Gaurav Khanna's character. While there was a buzz that Anuj Kapadia might disappear from Anupamaa for a long time, some reports even suggested that Gaurav might leave the superhit show as his character isn't going to be as pivotal as before.
However, the actor has finally reacted to the ongoing rumours and dismissed the reports of Anuj Kapadia taking a backseat in Anupamaa.
GAURAV KHANNA ON RUMOURS OF HIM TAKING LONG BREAK FROM ANUPAMAA
Reacting to it, Gaurav told India TV, "Not at all, I haven't heard anything like this. It is a prase where there is some distance between Anuj and Anupama, it does not mean that I am going on a long break. There are ups and downs in the story on television, but it doesn't mean I am leaving the show."
Well, his statement will surely make MaAn fans elated. Also, it'll be interesting to see if and when will Anupama and Anuj reunite in the popular Star Plus show.
