Archana Gautam and her father recently visited the Congress office to convey their congratulations to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi for the successful passage of the women's reservation bill in Parliament.
However, they were denied entry and faced an assault from a group of troublemakers just outside the office premises. Archana Gautam and her father reportedly endured physical harm and mistreatment in the vicinity of the Congress office in New Delhi.
Videos capturing this incident quickly circulated on social media, sparking outrage among online users. A day after the distressing incident, the former Bigg Boss contestant finally spoke out to share her perspective, referring to it as an "on-road rape" in an interview. Amidst these developments, she opened up about the message of Shiv Thakare after the sad incident.

SHIV THAKARE MESSAGED ARCHANA GAUTAM AFTER THE ASSAULT INCIDENT
In a recent interview, Archana opened up about how her friends called and messaged her after seeing the shocking video of people manhandling her in Delhi. She revealed that her Bigg Boss 16 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 co-contestant Shiv Thakare also got in touch after the incident.
Talking to National Reporter about the same, she said, "Shiv (Thakare) ne message kiya 'are you okay?' Toh maine kaha 'haa main theek hun.' Usne kaha 'tu dhyaan rakh apna aur acche se pohoch ja.' Toh maine kaha thanks yaar. Mujhe bohot accha laga ki... matlab Shiv ke saath mera bohot accha bond tha, but hota hai na, jab aap saath mei rehte hai toh thoda khich-pich hoti rehti hai. Warna aap dekho toh uske saath mere bohot acche bond nikle hai. Mujhe lagta hai ki ab Khatron Ke Khiladi karne se hum bahar bohot acche dost ban gaye. Toh Shiv ka jab message aaya toh mujhe expectation hi nahi thi, kyunki jo mere khud ke real dost hain unke message nahi aae, unke call nahi aae. Aur Shiv ke message aae toh mujhe bohot accha lagta hai. Kyunki mujhe pata chalta hai ki iss waqt mei kon-kon dost mere saath khada hai."
"Nyra (Banerjee) ka mujhe message aaya, raat ko 2 baje she was calling me. Dino (James) ka mujhe call aaya, Sheezan (Khan) ka mujhe call aaya, Ruhi (Chaturvedi) ka mujhe call aaya. Sabka almost mujhe call aaya, toh mujhe accha lagta hai ye log mere saath hai. Devoleena ne mujhe call karke pucha ki 'tum theek ho ki nahi,'" Archana added.
