Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin update: Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt's show has been hogging all the limelight these days. While the TRPs of the romantic drama are steady, it has grabbed eyeballs after the makers decided to plan a generation leap.

GHUM HAI KISIKEY PYAAR MEIIN LEAP

When it comes to introducing a time jump, creative teams usually bring the twist when the ratings are low or they have run short of ideas. Something similar is happening with Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.

The numbers of the show are good as it the third highly-rated show across all channels. However, the makers feel that the current storyline has run its course and hence, they have decided to bring a new lead couple and change the plot.

AYESHA SINGH TO QUIT, SAIRAT TO DIE

Filmibeat was the first portal to share an update about the Sai and Virat's death in GHKPM. The makers have planned a grand sequence to give a farewell to SaiRat, who have been separated following the six-year leap in the show.

"Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin will witness a tragic end of Sai and Virat's characters. The duo, who were earlier married to each other, will be killed during a bomb accident. The two characters will die before the leap track is introduced and the new storyline will now focus on their daughter Savi. The creative team has planned a shocking twist and if they implement it, Sai and Virat will meet a shocking end. Things are still under consideration as nothing has been finalised," a source told Filmibeat.

GHUM HAI FANS BLAME AYESHA SINGH AND NEIL BHATT

While ardent fans of the show are upset over Ayesha and Neil's exit, a few netizens have expressed their displeasure over the rumoured 'issues' between the two. While gossip mills suggested that the duo faced issues with each other, Bhatt and Singh always squashed the such rumour.

However, fans seemed to be miffed with them. One user wrote, "The only reason for #SaiRat's GRACE,CHARM and so much LOVE for #SaiRat is #Neilsha's magic. And also They themselves are the cause of the destruction of our #SaiRat, their offscreen issues... Believe it or not this is TRUE #GhumHaiKisikeyPyaarMeiin (sic)."

"I won't say much but the issues between the leads did create troubles for the show. Will miss SaiRat but hope Neil and Ayesha would do more for the fans as an on-screen couple," another said.

Harshad Arora, who entered the show earlier this year, will also make an exit following the leap. Aishwarya Sharma aka Pakhi has already quit the drama and she is now busy with the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 in South Africa.
