Baalveer 3: Dev Joshi’s Superhero Drama To Go Off Air After 7 Months Post The Launch; Here’s Why

Of late, several shows have been going off air on Indian television across channels. From Star Plus' Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin to Sony TV's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3, several shows have pulled their curtains down of late. And now, another show is set to bid adieu to the audience. We are talking about Baalveer 3.

Starring Dev Joshi, Aditi Sanwal, Patrali, Ada Khan etc, the show, which was premiered in March 2023, will reportedly be going off air in October this year just seven months after its launch. According to media reports, the makers of Baalveer 3 have taken the big decision owing to the poor ratings of the show.

As per GossipsTV Baalveer 3 has been getting poor ratings for the last few weeks and will be winding up in the first week of October. "The channel has been re-working on its content, with more family drama, as opposed to comedy or fantasy shows," the report stated. The report also suggested that the channel is working on bringing a replacement for Baalveer 3.

Although an official announcement is yet to be made about Balveer 3's end is yet to be made, this isn't the first time there have been reports about the show getting axed. Earlier, it was reported that Baalveer 3 will be going off air in August. However, it managed to get an extension till October.

Now it will be interesting to see which show will be replacing Baalveer 3 on Sony SAB. Earlier, Baalveer 3 lead actor as Dev Joshi had opened up about his character and told India Forums, "Portraying the character of Baalveer for over a decade, it has been an inseparable part of my life. As Baalveer, I have always tried to use this opportunity as an actor to motivate the generations with positivity and goodness. It's my pleasure and responsibility to portray this character for so many years and I hope that it continues forever".
