Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si: Mohit Malik Reveals How Kunal’s Love Story Is Similar To His Real Life Love Saga

Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si Update: Star Plus' much-awaited show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si beautifully amalgamates two rich cultures: Marathi and Punjabi. This fusion extends beyond the screen, as Mohit Malik essays the character of a Punjabi on the show while resonating with his Punjabi roots in real life. In contrast, Sayli Salunkhe portrays a Marathi girl in the series and interestingly shares her Maharashtrian identity off-screen as well.
Mohit Malik, aka Kunal Malhotra, from Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, shared his thoughts about the same and said, "Kunal's character is a very interesting one, it is not a negative but a grey character. He has his own thought processes and way of making things work. Kunal belongs to a hardcore Punjabi family who finds a Marathi girl and the story moves forward from there. This is similar to my real-life love story which made me feel like I am portraying myself in the show. I met my wife who is a Maharashtrian while working. Since my wife is a Maharashtrian, it did not feel like I was acting; it just felt like I was going from one home to another. My bond with Sayli, as well as her character Vandana, is similar in the show."
Batein Kuch Ankahee Si, a captivating fictional tale of love with musical undertones, is brought to life by the creative vision of Rajan Shahi. The narrative centers around two individuals in their middle age, hailing from diverse backgrounds, whose paths converge and clash, giving rise to a poignant exploration of differing perspectives. This emotional journey is deeply intertwined with the power of music, serving as a significant catalyst in their transformative experiences.
Get ready for the premiere of Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si scheduled for August 21, airing at 9:00 PM exclusively on Star Plus. The series will be headlined by the dynamic duo of Mohit Malik and Sayli Salunkhe.
