After Disha Parmar, Nakuul Mehta CONFIRMS Return As Ram In Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3: I Was Not Shocked…

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 Update: The second season of Ekta Kapoor's much-loved show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain premiered on Sony TV in August 2021 amid a huge buzz and expectations. Featuring Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar in the lead roles of Ram and Priya respectively, the show won many hearts.

In a surprising turn of events, the makers of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 announced a generation leap three months ago after which both Nakuul and Disha bid adieu to the show leaving RaYa fans in shock. Later, Niti Taylor and Randeep Rai replaced them as the new leads of BALH 2.

Although the new on-screen pairing was highly anticipated by fans, the leap in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain didn't receive the anticipated response from its loyal audience.

Regrettably, the show will be discontinued just three months after the leap, causing shock not only among fans but also the cast. The show stars Hiten Tejwani, Pooja Banerjee, and Leenesh Mattoo in pivotal roles and is expected to bid farewell to viewers on May 24.

After BALH 2, the makers are set to come up with Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 in which the OGs Nakuul and Disha will be seen returning as Ram and Priya in a new setting. A few days after Disha confirmed her return, now Nakuul too has made it official that he's indeed coming back as Ram.

Talking about it, Nakuul told HT, "They thought it would be amazing to get us together to play the respective roles in a new world and give the audience something to cheer about."

The actor further revealed that he's not much surprised by the decision. He said, "When I got the call, I was not shocked because I saw how people had reacted to us moving on and like on an impulse, I felt it was the right thing to do. It didn't take me a second to question what I thought was a great opportunity. It's a show I take great pride in. I have complete ownership of it and the show has been such a beautiful ride for me personally, that I felt it would be a fitting tribute to give to our audiences - to come together and do this one more time."

Well, this is indeed a great piece of news for Nakuul fans.
