LATEST TRP Ratings: Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Drop, Naagin 6, Junooniyatt Increase In Week 12- List Of Top 10 Shows
BARC TRP Ratings for week 12 of 2023 have been finally released. It's a bright new Thursday and we are back with yet another exciting edition of TRP Report. From the highlights in week 12 to the list of top ten shows, here's all you need to know about the latest TRP masala chart. Wondering which show topped the list? Did Bekaboo open well? TRP Week 12 Highlights
Anupamaa continued to dominate the ratings chart while Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also performed well in the latest week. However, the top three shows witnessed a slight decrease in viewership. Interestingly, Junooniyatt, DharamPatnii and Naagin 6 have managed to increase their numbers in week 12, courtesy of the drama-packed episodes.
Although the rise is marginal, the shows have been able to create buzz on TV and social media. Teri Meri Doriyaann beat Udaariyaan, emerging as the slot leader at 7pm. It seems the swapping track worked wonders for the early evening show that features Vijayendra Kumeria in a lead role.
Channels War
Star Plus ruled the roost when it came to having maximum shows in top 10 list. Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Imlie, Faltu, Pandya Store, Yeh Hai Chahatein and Teri Meri Doriyaann featured in the top eight shows list, followed by Kundali Bhagya and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
While Colors channel's daily soaps and weekend dramas saw a rise, they failed to secure a spot in the list of top ten shows. The new shows have somehow not been able to strike a chord with the audience. Zee TV and Sony SAB had a show each in the category.
Junooniyatt Rises
Ankit Gupta's Junooniyatt saw a rise of 0.1 TVR in week, generating a rating of 1.1. The competition at 8:30pm on Hindi television is considered to be intense as popular shows like Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Imlie, Bhagya Lakshmi air at the same slot across different channels.
Junooniyatt, which also stars Neha Rana and Gautam Vig is focusing on the wedding track and it is expected to rise further in the upcoming weeks.
Naagin 6 Is Top Show On Colors
Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6 has emerged as the most-watched show on Colors channel with a TVR of 1.5. The weekend drama also increased in the latest set of TRP ratings. Fans are expecting the show to pick up pace as the makers have been churning out entertaining episodes since the past few weeks.
"Naagin 6 has yielded great results for the channel and they are well aware about Tejasswi Prakash's popularity. We won't be surprised if the show continues till IPL 2023 and ends with a blockbuster finale in June. Everything will depend on the ratings as things change overnight in the TV industry," a source told Filmibeat when asked about Naagin 6 finale.
TRP Of Star Plus Shows
Anupamaa and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin took the number one and second spot with a TVR of 2.9 and 2.7 respectively. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also slipped to 2.3 in the current week while Chashni somehow couldn't increase its viewership.
