TRP Report Week 28: Naagin 6 & Junooniyatt RISE, Barsatein Opens On Slow Note- Top 10 Hindi Shows List

TRP Report: BARC TRP ratings for week 28 have been finally released. All eyes were on the numbers as Naagin 6 ended with a blockbuster finale on July 9 and the closing TRPs would showcase its overall journey. Interestingly, two new much-awaited shows were launched on Colors channel (Neerja) and Sony Entertainment Television (Barsatein).

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus dominated the ratings game with maximum shows in top ten list. Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Faltu and Imlie secured top spots in the coveted list. Pandya Store and Teri Meri Dooriyann are also doing well for the number one channel.

Shiv Shakti- Tap Tyaag Tandav has turned out to be a golden goose for Colors channel. While Naagin 6 and Udaariyaan were only grabbing eyeballs for the leading GEC, the two new properties have also worked well. Shiv Shakti is close to dethroning Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar as it registered a TRP of 1.8 while Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma's show got a rating of 2.1.

Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah took the number eight spot despite the controversies. Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television shows couldn't make an entry in the list of top Hindi daily soaps and reality shows.

BARSATEIN OPENING TRP

Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon's highly anticipated show Barsaatein Mausam Pyaar Ka opened on a slow note. The romantic drama, which replaced Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3, registered an average TRP of 0.5 for the first week. Katha Ankahee and Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum secured a respective TRP of 0.5 and 0.3.

Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3 starring Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta slipped to 0.3 in its new time slot.

NAAGIN 6 FINALE TRP

Tejasswi Prakash's show ended with a bang after a successful journey, registering a TRP of 1.5 for the final two episodes, Naagin 6 finale couldn't perform as per expectations as the viewers didn't know about the grand finale until the last moment.

While Naagin 6 ended on a good note, Junooniyatt increased in week 28. Ankit Gupta, Gautam Vig and Neha Rana's show got a TRP of 1.2 at 9pm slot.

TOP TEN SHOWS- WEEK 28

Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's Anupamaa took the number one spot while Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai bagged the second spot. It seems Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt's exit has affected Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin as the TRPs have dipped after they left the show.
