TRP Report Week 45: Bigg Boss 17 Beats Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anupamaa Drops Again- Top 10 Shows List

TRP of Hindi serials: Hey folks, we are back with yet another juicy edition of TRP Report. The BARC TRP ratings for week 45, 2023 were released a day later on Friday (November 17) on account of the Diwali holiday. This week has witnessed quite a few changes in the ranking of your favourite TV shows. Anupamaa fell further as Imlie pushed it to the number four spot. Bigg Boss 17 managed to beat Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in the numbers game.

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus dominated the rating charts but witnessed a decrease in numbers for most of the shows. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Imlie, Teri Meri Dooriyaan, Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pandya Store featured in the list of top ten shows.

Colors channel had three shows in the list, viz- Bigg Boss 17, Parineetii and Shiv Shakti-Tap Tyaag Tandav. Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah also secured a spot while Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television couldn't bag any position in the list of top ten Hindi serials.

DOREE FIRST WEEK TRP

Doree, which replaced Ankit Gupta starrer Junooniyatt at the 9pm, opened well last week. The social drama starring Sudha Chandran and Amar Upadhyay started with a TVR of 1.5 on the first day. The average rating for the show stood at 1.6, which is impressive considering the intense competition at the same slot.

Kumkum Bhagya, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Baatein Kuch Ankahee air at the 9pm slot on rival channels.

BIGG BOSS 17 BEATS YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI

While YRKKH got a TRP of 1.8, Bigg Boss season 17 performed better in terms of numbers. The reality show registered an average TVR of 1.9. The weekend episodes fared well, securing a rating of 2.1 while the weekday numbers stood at 1.7.

Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami entered the show after the makers introduced a generation leap. Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda made an exit as they were not required after the time jump in Yeh Rishta serial.

TOP 1O SHOWS LIST- TRP OF HINDI SHOWS

Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starrer Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin took the number one position while Imie 3 jumped to the number two spot, pushing Teri Meri Dooriyaann to the third position. Anupama fell further to the fourth position while Bigg Boss 17 maintained its dominance at number five.
