TRP of Hindi shows: The BARC TRP ratings for week 50 have been finally released. Wondering which show topped the charts? Did Anupamaa increase after witnessing a drop in recent weeks? How did Bigg Boss 17 perform? Grab a bowl of popcorn and start the reading session.

CHANNEL WAR

Star Plus is still the market leader with seven daily soaps in the list of top ten shows. Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Pandya Store, Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si and Teri Meri Dooriyaan featured in the list.

Colors channel secured the second position as ShivShakti Tap Tyaag Tandav and Parineetii performed well in week 50. Sony SAB's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah also bagged a spot in the list.

Zee TV and Sony Entertainment Television shows couldn't enter the coveted list of top Hindi serials in week 50.

BIGG BOSS 17 TRP

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 17 also failed to secure a spot in the list as it didn't witness a rise in terms of numbers. While the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes are fetching good TRPs, the weekday episodes have been disappointing so far.

The average rating for weekday episodes stood at 1.1, which is considered low. After giving intense competition to Anupamaa, BB 17 has dropped in recent weeks.

TRP OF HINDI SERIALS- TOP TEN SHOWS

Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma starrer Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has bagged the number spot with a TVR of 2.5. Imlie took the second position while Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna's Anupamaa was placed at the number three spot.

Samridhi Shukla and Shehzada Dhami starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai secured the fourth position while Shiv Shakti is at the fifth position. Pandya Store and Teri Meri Dooriyaann took the sixth and seventh positions respectively.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah lost the slot leadership to Imlie but managed to find a spot in the list.
