BARC TRP Ratings week 9, 2023: Ankit Gupta's Junooniyatt suffered a massive decrease in numbers in the third week of launch; however, the fans are confident that the musical drama will zoom ahead in the TRP race.
Junooniyatt TRP: The BARC TRP ratings for week 9, 2023 were released on Friday (March 10), a day late on account of Holi holiday. Fans have not been able to control their excitement as the numbers for the daily soaps and reality shows have been unveiled. While it brought cheers for a few shows, a few dramas witnessed a drop in their viewership.
JUNOONIYATT WEEK 3 TRP
Ankit Gupta's Junooniyatt, which launched with a bang on February 13, opened with a rating of 1.2. It created ripples last week when it became the slot leader by generating a TRP of 1.5. However, the musical drama co-starring Gautam Vig and Neha Rana has suffered a massive fall in week 9 of 2023.
8:30pm slot is generally considered the toughest slot to crack as the likes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Imlie air on rival channels. Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti starrer Bhagyalakshmi also beams on Zee TV at the same slot. As the competition in the said slot is stiff, the makers of Junooniyatt have to introduce newer twists and turn to capture the attention of the netizens.
TRP Ratings: How Junooniyatt Fared This Week?
The drama, which airs on Colors channel, saw a significant fall in viewership. It registered a TRP of 1.1 despite the good promotions across different mediums. The numbers are expected to pick up if the makers focus on Jahaan and Elahi's love story.
How Other Colors Show Performed?
Junooniyatt fared better than Durga Aur Charu, Tere Ishe Mein Ghayal, Agnisakshi, Molkki 2 and Saavi Ki Savaari. The leading GEC has seen a big drop in the numbers of all its shows including Naagin 6, which topped the TRP charts last week.
Fans Have A Suggestion
The ardent viewers of Junooniyatt have suggested the makers to focus on the friendship and rivalry between Jordaan and Jahaan to attract new viewers.
"Story is so slow. Focus should be on Tashan & friendship rather than love story... But if we see sare new shows me #Junooniyatt got the highest TRP but story line par focus karna hoga.jahaan par bilkul bhi focus ni tha last week," one user tweeted.

Another fan tweeted, "Last week the episodes were so boring that i had to skip everything except for #AnkitGupta 's scenes and i am sure i am not the only one who felt that.The writers/creatives/PH is 200% responsible fr massive decline of trp. Learn from Swaran Ghar's failure PH!! #Junooniyatt."
