Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka Update: Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon embarked on their television journeys with the shows Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi (2013, ZEE TV) and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai (2011, Star Plus), respectively. Since then, they have managed to win the hearts of millions.

Throughout their careers, they have brought joy to their fans with numerous beloved shows. Now, for the very first time, the duo has come together in Ekta Kapoor's recently premiered Sony TV series, Barsatein - Mausam Pyaar Ka.

NAUSHEEN ALI SARSAR AS ARADHANA'S MOTHER IN BARSATEIN

In this show, Shivangi Joshi and Kushal take on the lead roles of Aradhana and Reyansh, respectively. According to the plot, Shivangi Joshi portrays Aradhana, a journalist who joins Reyansh's company. However, her mother, a dentist, disagrees with her chosen career path and insists on her pursuing a medical profession.

Barsatein has received a positive response from viewers so far and the makers are gearing up to incorporate numerous fresh twists and developments into the storyline. As previously mentioned, Nausheen Ali Sardar, renowned for her role in Kkusum, has joined the cast by bagging the significant character of Malini Khanna, Aradhana's real mother Mimi.

NAUSHEEN ON ESSAYING SHIVANGI JOSHI'S MOTHER

In a recent interview, the talented actress finally opened up about bagging Barsatein and essaying Shivangi Joshi's onscreen mother. Talking to ETimes about it, Nausheen said, "Shivangi is young. I am comfortable playing mother to young actors, but not someone my age."

Interestingly, she added that playing a mother onscreen wasn't easy for her. Sharing her thoughts about the same, Nausheen added, "At the peak of my career, I was asked to play a mother in my show, Kkusum. However, at that time, I feared that if I agreed to play a mother, I wouldn't get back to portraying the heroine again, so I exited the show. At this point in my career, I'm okay playing a mother if it is a strong character."

In the recent episodes of Barsatein, viewers witnessed Mrs. Sahni giving Aradhana the letters penned by her birth mother. Later, Aradhana decides to set out on a journey to discover her roots. The upcoming narrative is indeed going to be intriguing as viewers await to see what course Aradhana's life will take following the introduction of her biological mother.
