During his interaction with Telly Chakkar, when Krushna was quizzed about the Udaariyaan couple, he ended up referring to Ankit as Priyanka's husband. He then stated that he feels they are a couple and that they aren't accepting their relationship. Krushna asserted, "Priyanka badi achi game khel rahi hai. Priyanka ka husband aaya... sorry husband bol raha hu... friend hai jo bhi hai.... Ankit bahar aaya tha. wo bahut zyada accept nahi kar rahe apna relationship. but mujhe lagta hai aisa feel hota hai dono ko dekh ke shayad dono couple honge". Earlier, Ankit and Priyanka's Udaariyaan co-star Isha Malviya had also stated that she wishes the duo starts dating each other.
On the other hand, Ankit's best friend Drishita spoke about PriyAnkit's bond and said, "I can relate them to Anjali and Rahul from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Priyanka is very soft hearted, she is very kind and humble. Uska issue ye hai ki ek baar wo kisi ke saath attach ho jati hai na to fir wo uske le ke kaafi zyada serious ho jati hai.
