Bekaboo: Priyanka-Ankit's Udaariyaan Co-Star CONFIRMS Bagging Negative Role In Shalin Bhanot's New Show

Bekaboo Update: After the success of Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6, producer Ekta Kapoor is making another supernatural drama for Colors TV. Titled Bekaboo, the show features Bigg Boss 16 finalist Shalin Bhanot, Eisha Singh, and Monalisa in pivotal roles.

The fantasy drama is reportedly inspired by Beauty And The Beast and its promos are getting a positive response from the viewers. While fans are eagerly waiting for the premiere of Bekaboo, another talented actor has now joined the star cast of Ekta Kapoor's much-awaited TV series.

UDAARIYAAN ACTOR BAGS ROLE IN SHALIN BHANOT'S BEKABOO

Well, we're are talking about Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta's Udaariyaan co-star Abhishek Kumar. The social media influencer, who first grabbed eyeballs on TikTok, made his TV debut with PriyAnkit's hit TV show and played the younger brother of Fateh (Ankit Gupta).

After Udaariyaan, the actor is now excited to play a pivotal role in Priyanka and Ankit's Bigg Boss 16 co-contestant Shalin Bhanot's new show.

Abhishek will be seen essaying a negative role in Bekaboo and his character name is Adhiraj. The actor always wanted to portray a powerful role on screen and it has finally got fulfilled with the supernatural show.

Confirming the same, Abhishek told ETimes, "After my last show went off air I was waiting for something very interesting, unique and significant. I didn't want to let myself typecast playing similar roles hence I took a small break and was focusing on grooming myself. Meanwhile, I also enjoyed acting in music videos. But now I'm happy return back on set with this fantasy revenge drama, that revolves around the journey of an angel (Pari) and Evils (Rakshas), who are destined to be warring with the history of their families."

BEKABOO PREMIERE DATE AND TIME SLOT

Also featuring Shivangi Joshi and Zain Imam in important cameos, Bekaboo is slated to hit the TV screens on March 18 and will air during weekends at 9 pm.
