Shalin Bhanot, Eisha CONFIRMS Bekaboo Going OFF AIR But Not Ending: Show Won’t Be Available…

Bekaboo Update: After winning hearts with his stint in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16, TV star Shalin Bhanot returned to the small screen with Ekta Kapoor's supernatural drama Bekaboo co-starring Eisha Singh and Monalisa in the lead roles.

Said to be inspired by Beauty And The Beast, the show premiered on Colors TV in March this year amid huge buzz and expectations and opened to a positive response with fans loving Shalin Bhanot's performance as well as onscreen chemistry with co-star Eisha Singh.

However, off lately, Bekaboo has been underperforming on thr TRP charts. As Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 is set to premiere on the channel from next week onwards, there were rumours that the supernatural drama is going off-air along with Tejasswi Prakash starrer Naagin 6.

The development came as a surprise for the loyal fans of Bekaboo as the supernatural drama is just four months old. In a recent interview, both Shalin and Eisha have confirmed that their weekend series is set to go off-air will its last episode will be aired on TV tonight (July 9). But, there's a twist in the tale.

Well, fans won't be able to see Bekaboo on TV from now on, howeve, it is not ending. As reported earlier the show will continue to air on Jio Cinema just like Karan Kundrra's Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal and the lead stars of Bekaboo made the news official.

Talking to ETimes, Shalin Bhanot said, "Bekaboo was always a finite show. In fact, I was all set to go on a break after July 9 but I was informed that because the show did well on digital platforms, it will now continue there."

On the other hand, Eisha Singh shared, "Yes, the show won't be available for TV viewers now. But, am glad that it will be available on digital platforms and it will be great to keep the online viewers entertained. I am looking forward to shooting for the online platform. It is great news."
