Beqaboo: THIS Actress CONFIRMS Playing Bigg Boss 16 Star Shalin Bhanot’s Heroine In Colors’ New Fantasy Show

After the massive success of Tejasswi Prakash's Naagin 6, soap queen Ekta Kapoor is making another fantasy drama for Colors TV. Titled Beqaboo, the upcoming show is said to be based on Beauty And The Beast.

While Kushal Tandon was earlier confirmed to play the male lead in it, Bigg Boss 16 finalist and TV star Shalin Bhanot recently replaced him. While he's excited to be a part of Beqaboo, there have been speculations that TV star Eisha Singh will be essaying the female lead in the much-awaited show.

Last seen opposite Vivian Dsena in Colors TV's Sirf Tum, the talented actress has finally confirmed that she's indeed playing the lead role opposite Shalin in Beqaboo. Yes, you read that right!

Revealing the same, Eisha told ETimes, "I am doing the show Bekaboo and I am very excited to be a part of it. As I have always done social dramas, getting into the fantasy genre will be new and exciting experience for me."

The actress is looking forward to the show in which she'll be seen essaying the character of Bela who isn't aware of her super powers. Talking about her character, Eisha added, "I cannot share much details except that I am playing a simple girl Bela, who comes from a lower middle- class family. She has some super powers which she herself is unaware of. As the story unfolds, the audience will get to know the real mystery."

For the unversed, Eisha Singh made her TV debut with Colors TV's Ishq Ka Rang Safed in 2015 opposite Mishal Raheja. She then played the lead role in ZEE TV's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. Her next show, Ishq Subhan Allah opposite Adnan Khan was a big hit and made her a household name.

Her last show, Sirf Tum alongside Vivian Dsena ended last year and she's excited to return to the small screen with Beqaboo.
