After Sana Khan, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai Star Vidisha Srivastava Aka Anita Bhabhi PREGNANT With Her First Child
Best known for playing the lead role of Anita in &TV’s long-running show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, TV actress Vidisha Srivastava is reportedly expecting her first child.
Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai Actress Pregnancy: Vidisha Srivastava, who took over the role of Anita Bhabhi on Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli's long-running comedy show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai after Nehha Pendse's departure in February of last year, is pregnant.
Also known for playing a pivotal role in Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the actress will reportedly welcome her little munchkin in June this year. Much like her wedding, she has kept her pregnancy a secret.
For the unversed, she married Sayak Paul, who is not from the industry, in December 2018 in her hometown of Banaras.
VIDISHA SRIVASTAVA IS SIX MONTHS PREGNANT
While the actress is yet to announce her pregnancy, a source informed ETimes, "Vidisha is six months pregnant. People haven't figured it out yet, as her baby bump isn't too obvious. She will take a maternity break of around three months after her delivery. We will keep a bank of episodes and her scenes ready in advance so that the break doesn't affect the show. This is exactly how we did when Saumya Tandon (the original Anita bhabhi) went on a four-month maternity break."
VIDISHA SRIVATAVA IS NOT PLANNING TO QUIT THE SHOW
Despite her pregnancy, Vidisha has no plans to leave the show, and the production house has no plans to replace her during her absence. According to the report, it is certain that she will return to the show after her maternity break.
Since its debut in 2015, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai has had three actresses playing the character of Anita Bhabhi. Saumya Tandon was the first actress to essay the role. She played it until 2020 when she left the show. Nehha Pendse took over from her but left the show in February 2022, after which Vidisha stepped in to play the part and is winning hearts.
Recently, Bigg Bogg 5 contestant Sana Khan too announced her pregnancy. In 2020, she announced her retirement from showbiz to "serve humanity and follow the order of her Creator." Sasural Simar Ka star Dipika Kakar Ibrahim too is set to welcome her first child this year.
