Bhagya Lakshmi Update: After the success of Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya, Ekta Kapoor teamed up with ZEE TV for Bhagya Lakshmi and the show has been a hit among viewers since then, largely due to the endearing performances by Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti, fondly referred to as RishMi.
In recent episodes, Rishi and Lakshmi have revealed their affection for each other during the Holi festivities in a state of intoxication, but he has pledged to find a groom for Lakshmi before marrying Malishka (played by Maera Mishraa).
Adding to the show's excitement, renowned actor Mohit Malhotra is set to join the cast as Vikrant, a benevolent businessman who treats everyone with respect, much like Lakshmi. Vikrant is being considered as a potential match for Lakshmi, and as the plot unfolds, he wins over everyone's hearts, including Lakshmi's. Mohit expressed his enthusiasm for returning to television after almost three years. He was last seen in Naagin 5 in 2020.
Talking about his character, Mohit said, "I am really happy to be back on television after a long time, that too with a show like Bhagya Lakshmi. My character Vikrant is an ideal man for Lakshmi, who promises to keep her happy and will be seen impressing every family member with his affable demeanour. I have recently started shooting with the cast of the show but it feels like I have known them forever. Everyone on the set is very warm and welcoming, despite me being the recent addition to the show. My character is going to bring in a lot of dramatic turn of events in the show and will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. The show has been doing great since day one, and I am looking forward to the audience's reaction to my character. I just hope they love Vikrant as much as they love the show."
Mohit's enthusiasm for his upcoming stint on the show is palpable. As Vikrant's entry shakes things up, the audience is in for a treat with the unforeseeable plot twists to come. Will Rishi and Lakshmi's relationship come to an end permanently? Or will they find their way back to each other? Only time will tell as the drama unfolds.
