Junooniyatt: TV buffs have not been able to control their excitement ever since the first promo of Ankit Gupta's new show was unveiled on social media. At a time when kitchen politics and supernatural dramas have hogged all the space on the small screen, Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta are all set to launch a musical drama that will be different from the run-of-the-mill shows.
Junooniyatt will feature the talented Ankit Gupta, who makes his return to the fiction space after winning hearts in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 16. All eyes are on the new show as it is based against the backdrop of music.
A little birdie from the sets revealed that the entire team is quite excited to showcase a different flavour of Punjab in Junooniyatt. "Be it the grand scale or soulful music, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have left no stone unturned to present a beautiful show that promises to warm the string of fans' hearts," the birdie said.
What We Know About Junooniyatt Launch Date, Promo?
Another source close to the show exclusively revealed that the channel is looking to launch the show with massive promotions next month. "The first three promos were just a trailer as the upcoming drama will take the viewers on a roller coaster ride filled with emotions, love and music. If things go as planned, Junooniyatt will launch on either February 13 or February 14 at 9:30pm or 10pm slot. The show will hit the airwaves in Valentine's Day 2023 week. The channel is still deciding on the time slot for the show as it wants to provide the best launch possible. After their hit show Udaariyaan, there's an increased pressure to deliver quality content and hence, Colors and the entire team are working hard," the source quipped
Ankit Gupta Teams Up With Sargun & Ravi Again
Ankit Gupta became a household name after playing the role of Fateh in Udaariyaan, which marked Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's debut as TV producers. After a slow start, the daily soap picked up pace and emerged as the number one show on Colors channel, even bagging the number two spot after Anupamaa. It was one of the few shows on Colors channel that crossed the 3-TVR mark in the last one year.
Ankit and Ravi-Sargun share a close association and hence, the TV heartthrob was the first choice of the duo when they decided to make a show based on music, adding the Punjabi flavour to it.

"Jahaan will be different than the normal male leads on Indian television. As already witnessed, his entry shot was filmed in a different way in the mustard fields. He aspires to win the competition and provide his parents the respect they lost due to some reasons.
