Bigg Boss 16 Finale might have ended but netizens are still busy talking about Ankit Gupta's emotional moment after Priyanka Choudhary. While the winner usually becomes the talk of the town, it was the second runner-up, who hogged all the limelight on social media. Priyanka Choudhary trended on Twitter following her shocking eviction from Bigg Boss 16.

Ankit Gupta broke down into tears after Priyanka Choudhary was eliminated from BB 16. Considering her fan following, TV buffs expected her to lift the winner's trophy or atleast secure a spot in top two of Bigg Boss 16. However, her game ended as she received lesser votes than MC Stan and Shiv Thakare.

"I am very proud of her. But sir, bura iss baat ka lag raha hai ki, this is the first time vo apne liye kuch kar rahi thi. Main uss ghar me tha sirf uske liye. I never said I wanted to win. Main uss ghar mee jeetne ke liye nahi gaya tha. Main usko jeet te hue dekhna chahta tha," Ankit told Salman Khan when the latter asked if he was proud of Priyanka's graceful exit from the BB 16 house. He couldn't control his emotions and cried in front of others, expressing her grief over Priyanka's loss.

HOW PRIYANKA CHOUDHARY'S BROTHER REACTED TO ANKIT GUPTA'S EMOTIONAL MOMENT?

Priyanka Choudhary's brother said that he was also upset to see Ankit Gupta crying during the grand finale of Bigg Boss 16. He said that he was expecting his sister to atleast secure a spot in top two and hence, he was sad with her eviction.

Talking about Ankit Gupta's reaction, he said that the Udaariyaan actor normally doesn't get emotional and therefore, he was also feeling bad to see him breaking down after Priyanka Choudhary was announced as the second runner-up of Bigg Boss 16.

"Lag raha tha atleast top two mein to hona chahiye tha. Jab vo Top two mein nahi rahi, tab bura laga. Jab Ankit ji emotional hogye the, tab aur bura laga dekhkhe as vo normally emotional hote nahi hai. To dekhke aur bura laga ki ek strong insaan bhi emotional ho raha hai," Yogesh Choudhary said in an interview.
