Bigg Boss 16: Priyanka Choudhary Reacts To Ankit Gupta Crying Post Her Elimination; Says ‘It Was Shocking’

Bigg Boss 16 grand finale has come to an end now and it had a lot of memorable moments which have won hearts. While MC Stan had lifted the trophy, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's elimination came as a shock to everyone. For the uninitiated, Priyanka had emerged as a second runner up on the popular reality show. And while Priyanka's elimination left everyone brimming with an opinion, it was her close friend Ankit Gupta's reaction which caught everyone's eyes. For the uninitiated, Ankit Gupta broke into tears after Priyanka's elimination was announced.

And now, Priyanka has reacted to Ankit's breakdown and said that it was quite shocking for her. While interacting with media, the Udaariyaan actress stated, "To shayad yahi reason hoga ki wo mera bahut acha friend hai aur use laga hoga ki 'Ye deserve karti hai and jeetna chahiye ise'... Of course aap friends ka acha hi chahte ho. To I am sure shayad is wajah se ki 'shit nahi jeeti'.... toh normally shayad uska rona nikal gaya. But haan shocking mere liya ye zaroor tha ki Ankit roya".

Earlier, Ankit also opened up on his breakdown during Bigg Boss 16 grand finale and said, "Well, It was quite unexpected for me and I couldn't accept the fact that she's coming out as a second runner-up and thus I got a little emotional. Everybody knows that she deserved it. She was winning almost every poll and contest and thus the results took time to sink in. However, looking at the grace that she came out with, I believe she is already a winner and I am super proud of her. She's had an amazing journey. She was strong since day one and didn't require anybody's support. After my eviction, she did feel a little weak for a day or two but she bounced back and how! Reaching until the top 3 is in itself a very big deal".
