She seemed miffed with the accusations as she posted a tweet on Friday (February 10), stating that people need little things to make a 'fuss'.
It all started when a clip from Sumbul Touqeer's interview was heavily circulated on social media platforms. Soon, people started alleging that MC Stan's PR team asked Sumbul to make a video to support him ahead of the Bigg Boss 16 finale. She confirmed that she received a call, urging to make a vote appeal for the rapper; however, she decided to ask fans to vote for both MC Stan and Shiv Thakare.

The Imlie actress took to Twitter to silence her naysayers, saying that she is not affected if people called it 'PR' or love. Her tweet set several tongues waging as she posted it a few hours after it was alleged that she 'exposed a PR activity'.

Sumbul said that she took Shiv Thakare and MC Stan's names while recording a video message ahead of the grand finale of Bigg Boss 16.
"Baat controversy ki nahi hai. Baat ye hai ki mujhe kal bhi ek phone aaya tha aur mujhe bola tha ki Stan ke liye ek video banake daal dijiye- Stan ko support karne ke liye. Maine video banake ke bhejha lekin maine Shiv aur Stan dono ka naam liya," Sumbul Touqeer told Manu Punjabi, as seen in the clip.

Sumbul Touqeer received a great surprise after getting eliminated from the Bigg Boss 16 house. Her fan following escalated after participating in the reality show and even her Instagram followers crossed the 1-million mark.
Thanking the fans for the same, the TV diva wrote, "Words fall short to show my gratitude and love for you guys. Thank you for the immense support you showed me while I was away. Seeing my family on Instagram reach 1 million followers has surely overwhelmed me. Thank you to everyone."
BIGG BOSS 16 FINALE
The grand finale of Bigg Boss 16 will telecast on Colors channel on Sunday (February 12). It will be a five-hour long event, which will feature performances from the top five finalists, Salman Khan and other contestants. The finalists- Priyanka Choudhary, Archana Gautam, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan and Shiv Thakare are competing for the winner trophy of Bigg Boss 16.
The winner will take home a cash prize of Rs 21 lakh 80 thousand along with a swanky new car. Salman Khan will host the finale episode on Sunday while the other contestants have started shooting for their acts from Friday.
