The Udaariyaan duo has won millions of hearts for their mushy chemistry and it is a treat to watch them in one screen. As the fans have been eagerly waiting for their reunion, there have been endless speculations about their relationship status. And now, Ankit has finally opened up about proposing Priyanka.

This happened during a task wherein Priyanka was given a chance to choose between an immediate marriage proposal from Ankit and a film offer with Salman Khan. While Priyanka opted for a film offer, Bharti quipped saying what if it was an immediate wedding proposal. To this, Ankit Gupt replied saying, "Aisi konsi maut pad rahi hai ki abhi honi hai". Furthermore, when Priyanka was quizzed about the qualities Ankit should learn from MC Stan, she stated that Ankit needs to be vocal about the people he loves. However, Ankit defended himself saying, "Pyaar is private thing. It is between those two people".

Earlier, Priyanka's brother had also opened up on her relationship with Ankit and said that they are friends as of now. "Jab tak Priyanka Di Aur Ankit Ji raazi nahi ho jaisa log chahte hain vaise ke liye tab tak mummy papa bhi kya bol sakte hain. Baaki mummy ko to ankit starting se bahut pasand hai. Papa ka as such koi view nhi hai kyunki papa bolte hain ki "Beta! Jo tu bolegi wahi sahi hai. Tera future hai tujhe decide karna hai. Tu sahi decide karegi"," he added stating his family wouldn't have any objection if Priyanka and Ankit decide to take their relationship to the next level.

Meanwhile, as Priyanka Choudhary has made it to the top 5, Ankit Gupta has been rooting for her. Sharing a video, the Junooniyatt actor stated, "Jab hum bigg boss ke ghar ke andar gaye the maine tabhi bola tha that you are going to win this and you are the winner and you definitely gonna win this. Trophy apne hi ghar aayegi".
