Bigg Boss 16 Finale: Ankit Gupta In Tears After Priyanka Choudhary’s Elimination; Says ‘I Am Proud Of Her’

Bigg Boss 16 is all set to pull its curtains down tonight and the grand finale has left everyone intrigued. The grand finale started with the top five finalists and it witnessed some shocking eliminations. While Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam were announced as the fourth and third runner up respectively, the popular reality show witnessed a massive twist after Priyanka Choudhary was eliminated. Her elimination came as a shock for her massive fan following, but it was Ankit Gupta's reaction to her eviction that grabbed the eyeballs.

Well, Ankit Gupta was initially in disbelief with Priyanka's elimination and eventually ended up breaking into tears. He said, "I am very proud of her. But bura is baat ka lag raha ki this is the first time wo apne liye kuch kar rahi thi aur mai us ghar me tha sirf uske liye. I never said I wanted to win. Main us ghar me jeetne ke liye bhi nahi gaya tha. Main sirf use jeette huye dekhne ke liye gaya tha". Ankit asserted that he is proud of Priyanka's journey in the show. He emphasised that Priyanka handled herself gracefully post his eviction and played a strong game.

To note, Ankit had been rooting for Priyanka and even shared a video ahead of the grand finale. The Junooniyatt actor stated, "Jab hum bigg boss ke ghar ke andar gaye the maine tabhi bola tha that you are going to win this and you are the winner and you definitely gonna win this. Trophy apne hi ghar aayegi"

Post her elimination, Shiv Thakare and MC Stan emerged as the top 2 finalists of Bigg Boss 16 and it was a close call for the two. After immense speculations, MC Stan was declared as the winner of Bigg Boss 16 while Shiv was announced as the first runner up of the popular reality show.
