BB16: Ex-Contestant Lauds Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia As She Gets Evicted; Says ‘You Definitely Deserved Top 5’

The finale week of Bigg Boss 16 has begun with bang and it has left the audience even more intrigued. After Sumbul Touqeer Khan's elimination, the popular reality show got its top 6 contestants. However, the finale week started with a massive twist of mid week elimination. Interestingly, this elimination was decided by the audience votes in the house. And much to everyone's surprise, it was Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia who was evicted from the show.

Needless to say, Nimrit's elimination came as a massive jolt for the Shiv Thakare and MC Stan aka the mandali. But apart from this, former Bigg Boss contestant Kamya Punjabi has lauded Nimrit for her journey on the popular reality show and wrote that she deserved to be in the top 5 contestants. She tweeted, "U definitely deserved top 5 but you earned true friends in this house wich is very rare... you were true to urself n ur audience! Lots of love n respect for you #NimratKaurAhluwalia". To note, post Nimrit's elimination, Bigg Boss 16 has got its top 5 contestants in Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan and Archana Gautam.

On the other hand, former contestant Shardul Pandit also sang praised for Nimrit and wrote, "@NimritAhluwalia well played and graceful exit. All things said and done I am proud of you for having battled anxiety and depression. People have a good hero now to battle their own demons".

Meanwhile, Nimrit is overwhelmed with the love coming her way post her stint on Bigg Boss 16. Sharing a post on social media, she wrote, "Thanks to all the fans for all the love and support throughout this journey and as I said IT IS JUST A BEGINNING".
