Bigg Boss 16 is just a few days away from its grand finale and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to keep the audience intrigued. This was evident as the finale week started with a mid week elimination which was decided by the in house audience. To note, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia was eliminated from Bigg Boss 16 during the finale week. It was a massive jolt for her and the mandali as she was the first contestant to make it to the finale week by winning the ticket to finale week. As Nimrit's elimination left everyone brimming with an opinion, did you know she earned a massive amount despite getting evicted just a few days before the grand finale?

Yes! You heard it right. To note, Nimrit has been one of the highest paid celebrities on the popular reality show. According to media reports, the Choti Sarrdaarni actress charged around Rs 7.5 to 8 lakhs per week for her stint on Bigg Boss 16. And while she has managed to stay inside the Bigg Boss house for over 18 weeks, her total remuneration will apparently be over Rs 1.4 crores.

Meanwhile, talking about Nimrit's elimination, it was a big blow to the mandali and Shiv Thakare and MC Stan were seen getting emotional as they bid her adieu. Nimrit even asked them to stay strong in the house and made sure that the trophy comes to mandali. Interestingly, Nimrit's elimination even left her arch rival Priyanka Choudhary and Shalin Bhanot sad. While Priyanka was seen talking about how much Nimrit wanted to make it to the grand finale, Shalin stated, "When I was having anxiety to Nimrit was there for me.
