Bigg Boss 16: Shiv Thakare Reveals If He’s In Touch With Ex-GF Veena, Says ‘We’ve Parted Ways But…’

'Marathi Manus' Shiv Thakare made his TV debut with MTV Roadies Rising in 2017 and has finally made a mark for himself in the entertainment industry.

While he rose to fame after winning the second season of Bigg Boss Marathi in 2019, Colors TV's Bigg Boss 16, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, made him a household name.

Shiv entered the Bigg Boss 16 house in October last year and gave his heart & soul to the game. From his friendship with Abdu Rozik and MC Stan to rivalry with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, he won many hearts and was counted among the strongest players.

Three days ago, on February 12, the top-rated reality show finally came to an end with MC Stan being declared as the winner. Shiv, on the other hand, came out as the first runner-up. Ever since his exit from the Bigg Boss 16 house, Shiv has been busy with back-to-back interviews.

The reality TV star is elated with the love and appreciation coming his way after Bigg Boss 16. However, fans think that his game in the Hindi show was very different from his stint in Bigg Boss Marathi 2.

In the regional show, hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar, Shiv even fell in love with co-contestant Veena Jagtap. Interestingly, during one of the tasks, he also got her name permanently inked on his hand. After coming out of the show, the duo grabbed many eyeballs thanks to their alleged relationship. However, a few months after the grand finale, both of them parted ways.

In a recent interview, he talked about his relationship and told ETimes, "Whatever relations I had in Bigg Boss Marathi or BB 16, are all close to my heart. Maine jo kiya dil se kiya. I have no regrets at all. Pyaar soch samajh kar nahi kiya jaata."

On being asked if he's still in touch with ex-girlfriend Veena, he stated, "We have parted ways, but before entering BB 16, I spoke to Veena once."

While their fans still want them to reconcile, looks like both of them have moved on in their lives and are currently focusing on their careers.
