Beqaboo Launch Date, Cast & More: All You Need To Know About Bigg Boss 16's Shalin Bhanot's NEW Show
Beqaboo: From launch date to timings, here's what we know about Shalin Bhanot's new show on Colors channel. The Bigg Boss 16 contestant has been confirmed to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's new weekend drama.
Shalin Bhanot has been hogging all the limelight ever since he made an exit from the Bigg Boss 16 house. The TV heartthrob remained in headlines throughout his stint in Salman Khan's reality show. He emerged as one of the finalists of BB 16, winning several hearts with his antics in the show. While Bigg Boss 16 is over, the actor has already bagged his new project.
Ekta Kapoor, while appearing on the big screen during the Bigg Boss 16 grand finale, confirmed that she has roped him for her new show on Colors channel. The TV Czarina is coming up with a new fiction show, which will soon hit the airwaves. The drama has been titled Beqaboo and Shalin Bhanot is playing an important role in it.
Last year, Ekta Kapoor and Colors teamm announced Tejasswi Prakash as the lead of Naagin 6 and this year was no different. The ace producer confirmed the rumours that Shalin Bhanot is a part of her upcoming show. While he couldn't lift the winner's trophy of Bigg Boss 16, Shalin has become a sought-after actor after the show.
Beqaboo Launch Date
Beqaboo will replace Naagin 6 during weekends on Colors channel in April 2023. The supernatural drama starring Tejasswi Prakash and Shrey Mittal has received an extension till April, courtesy of the increased TRPs.
Beqaboo will go on air after the end of Indian Premiere League (IPL) 2023, taking the 8pm slot on the leading GEC on Saturday and Sunday. An official date is yet to be announced by the production house.

While Ekta Kapoor has not made any official announcement, gossip mills have suggested that Eisha Singh will play the female lead in Beqaboo. The actress shot to fame after playing the role of Dhani in Ishq Ka Rang Safed. She was last seen in Sirf Tum opposite Vivian Dsena.
Karan Jotwani is also said to be a part of Beqaboo, which is being produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Shalin Bhanot's Role In Beqaboo
Beqaboo is said to be based on Beauty and The Beast and the storyline of the show is expected to be similar to the novel. Details about Shalin Bhanot's role have been kept under wraps as the makers are busy working on the pre-production and the show will soon go on floors.
Shalin will take a break for a few days before starting work for his new project.
