Shiv Thakare Shares SHOCKING Casting Couch Experience; Says ‘There Is No Discrimination Between Men & Women

Shiv Thakare has been a household name ever since he participated in Bigg Boss 16. He was one of the most talked about contestants of the popular reality show and won hearts with his strong game and common man approach on the show. In fact, Shiv, who was considered to be a strong contender for the winner's trophy, emerged as the first runner up of the show. And while he is basking in the success of the show, Shiv has now made heads turn as he opened up on his casting couch experience.

During his recent interview with Hindustan Times, the Amravati based actor recalled the time when he visited Mumbai for an audition in 2015 and said, "Mumbai mein aane ke baad pata chala ki sirf ladkiyo ko dar nahi rehta yaha, ladko ko bhi dar rahta hai". Although he said that he wasn't really a victim, Shiv recalled how a casting director tried using him by taking him to the bathroom and offering him a massage. Shiv also emphasised that that there is no discrimination between men and women when it comes to casting couch. The former Bigg Boss 16 contestant said, "He told me, 'Ek baar aap aao yaha audition ke baad. Aap workout bhi karte ho...'". However, Shiv left the place without any response.

But this wasn't all. Shiv also went on to reveal another incident wherein a woman called him for an audition at 11 pm. And while he understood the trick, he refused to do citing an excuse. "To this, she said, 'Kaam Nahi karna?' 'You won't get work in the industry' and other such things.," he added.

Clearly, Shiv had his share of struggles during his journey to success. Talking about the work front, Shi has reportedly bagged a Marathi movie wherein he will be seen playing the lead role. Besides, it is also reported that Shiv has also been approached for Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. However, an official announcement in this regard is yet to be made.
