As per the latest buzz, Sumbul Touqeer has been approached to play the lead role in Kundali Bhagya. The show stars Shraddha Arya and Shakti Arora in lead roles. Speculations are rife that the makers are keen to rope in Sumbul to play the main lead after introducing a generation. The TRPs of Kundali Bhagya has suffered a hit in recent months and the makers believe that generation leap might help in increasing the ratings.
Actress Confirms New Project
Sumbul has confirmed that she will be next seen in a cameo role in Dear Ishq that features Niyati Fatnani and Sehban Azim. The web show beams on Disney+Hotstar.
Talking about the same, she said that she is excited to make her first appearance in a show after Bigg Boss 16. "I am a fan of fiction shows & this is my first appearance after Big Boss where audiences will see me as an actor and not as myself. I am equally excited and nervous about the role. I want to put my best foot forward," the actress said in a statement as quoted as saying by IANS.
Naagin 7 Or Khatron Ke Khiladi 7
Considering her popularity, production houses are eager to sign her for different shows. There are mumours that Sumbul might sign the dotted lines for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Naagin 7. We will have to wait for a while as the actress has confirmed that something big is on the cards.
