If She Gets Evicted...: EX Contestant Praises BB 16's Sumbul Touqeer As Mandali Says She's Playing Victim Card

Bigg Boss 16 update: Love or hate but you cannot debate that Sumbul Touqeer Khan has played the game in a dignified way. At a time when contestants have engaged in nasty fights in Salman Khan's reality show, the actress has refrained from making demeaning comments against anyone. Several celebrities have also hailed Sumbul for staying true to herself and not resorting to other tactics to grab eyeballs.

The makers of the reality show have released a new promo where Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and MC Stan can be seen talking about Sumbul Touqeer behind her back. It all started when the Imlie actress decided to stay away from the Mandali for a while after they lost the nomination.

While Shiv Thakare and others tried to talk to Sumbul, the actress decided to take some time and think about her game. However, the Mandali members seemed to be upset with her. MC Stan accused her of playing the victim card while Nirmit Kaur Ahluwalia said that they have suffered because of being polite.

A former Bigg Boss contestant has praised Sumbul Touqeer after the Mandali said that she played a victim card.

Shardul Pandit expressed his opinion on Sumbul Touqeer, stating that he likes the actress. He hoped that Sumbul won't change herself for the sake of the game. He also talked about Sumbul Touqeer's elimination while sharing a tweet on his official Twitter handle.

"I like sumbul and hence I would say it's better she doesn't change herself to win the show or win the game. It will get over but if at 18 she changes she will live with that personality for all her life . Think about it even if she gets evicted it's okay #SumbulTouqeerKhan," the Bigg Boss 14 contestant wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Fans REACT To Shardul's Tweet

Netizens supported Sumbul Touqeer, saying that she has remained true and deserves to be a part of the finale. The fans said that Sumbul will never change her personality for Bigg Boss 16.

"She will never change her personality for a show. She is honest and kind and for her friends, relationships and dignity will always be above game. However I think that's the reason she shouldn't be evicted cause she is real and pure," one user tweeted.

"It a kuchh ho gya to bhi usne khud ko change nhi kiya jaisi hai vo vaisi hi hI from the start...ab 1 week e ky hi change'hoga..it Just she is feeling low now a days," another user wrote.

Bigg Boss 16 Elimination

Sumbul Touqeer, who is the youngest contestant of Bigg Boss 16, has been nominated for elimination this week. She is in the danger zone along with Shiv Thakare and MC Stan. For the first time, only Mandali members have been nominated for eviction. It remains to be seen which celebrity will bid adieu to the reality show.

On a related note, Karan Johar will host this week's Weekend Ka Vaar episode instead of Salman Khan. Last week, Farah Khan entered the BB 16 house as a special host and she interacted with the contestants. From sharing her points about Tina Datta and Priyanka Choudhary to playing games with the housemates, the director had a blast while shooting for the show.

Salman will return as a host for the grand finale episode, which will air on February 12, 2023. Speculations are rife that the makers might introduce a new twist in the form of surprise mid-week eviction in the finale week.
