Since the first week of Bigg Boss 17, the spotlight has been on Udaariyaan stars Isha Malviya and Abhishek Kumar, whose participation in the controversial reality show has captured considerable attention. For those unfamiliar with their history, the duo shared a romantic relationship during their stint on the popular Colors show but eventually went their separate ways.

Isha and Abhishek's current equation has been confusing fans as they sometimes become very friendly with each other leaving her current boyfriend Samarth Jurel irked. However, they also have their share of nasty fights. In a recent interview, their Udaariyaan co-star and Bigg Boss 16 star Ankit Gupta opened up about them.

ANKIT GUPTA REVEALS ISHA MALVIYA IS NOT HIS FRIEND

Last seen in Junooniyatt, Ankit revealed that he's not friends with Isha Malviya and called Abhishek his 'brother'.On being asked if there was a time when he had to pick sides between Isha and Abhishek during Udaariyaan, he told ETimes, "Not exactly. Kyunki, meri vibe Isha ke sath kabhi match hi nahi hui. We had a very cordial relationship. Hi-Hello, kaam se kaam, that's it. So, we never got to that friend thing ever. But with Abhishek, he's very friendly. Agar aap usse baat bhi nahi karoga na, wo aapko jaa-jaa ke, baat kar-karke mana lega, pata lega. He's fun that way."

On being asked if Ankit should maintain distance from Isha in the Bigg Boss 17 house, Ankit further said, "Haa, I think jo cheezein aapko hurt karti hai, aapko pata hai ki aapko hurt kar rahi hai toh aapko thoda distance bana lena chahiye. But kya hota hai na, pyaar-vyaar ka maamla thoda saaisa hi hota hai. Aap kitna bhi apne aap ko sambhalne ki koshish karo, thoda sa mushkil ho hi jata hai."
