Bigg Boss 17 update: Ankita Lokhande has often talked about her former boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput inside the BB 17 house. From sharing her fond memories to speaking about his dedication, the Pavitra Rishta actress has mentioned the late Bollywood actor several times in Salman Khan's show.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande dated each other for seven years before calling it quits in 2016. Their breakup set several tongue wagging as they were considered one of the most loved jodis in telly land. The duo shot to fame after playing the lead roles in Ekta Kapoor's Pavitra Rishta. While SSR was last seen as Manav, Ankita essayed the character of Archana. They fell in love while working on the sets of the Zee TV show.

After Sushant's death in June 2020, Ankita extended her support to his grieving family members and even took a stand for himself when rumours about his mental health surfaced on the internet. The Marathu Mulgi, while interacting with Munawar Faruqui, revealed the reason why she didn't attend Sushant's funeral.

She got emotional as she spoke about not being able to see the Raabta actor after his untimely demise. She expressed her pain and grief as she talked about losing SSR.

"Main jaa hi nahi paayi, main dekh nahi sakti, Vicky ne kaha tu jaake aa. Maine first time aisa experience kiya," Ankita told Munawar. She said that she couldn't watch Sushant Singh Rajput in such a state. Revealing that Vicky Jain was also Sushant Singh Rajput's friend, she stated that he asked her to attend the last rites.

ANKITA LOKHANDE ON HER BREAKUP REASON WITH SUSHANT

Earlier, the Manikarnika actress also talked about the reason behind her breakup, adding that her parents were devasted following her separation with the Dil Bechara actor. "Uska jaana ek alag cheez thi. Main tut gyi, mere maa baap tut gye. Main kahi involved nahi thi, fir bhi main khadi hui because main chahti ki log jaane vo kaun tha," she had said.

"Log tab kaha the, jab mera breakup chal raha tha. Main vo phase akele gujazara. There was no reason for breakup. Ek raat mein cheeze change hui meri life mein. Mera concern tha ki mujhe batakar cheezein karta, to mujhe pata rehta. Uski aankhon mein dikhne lag gya ki koi cheez nahi hai," Ankita told Munawar when the Lock Upp winner asked her about the reason behind the breakup.
