Bigg Boss 17 Boss Meter winner week 1: It's time to send congratulatory messages to Anurag Dobhal, who managed to beat Munawar Faruqui in the first week of the show. The YouTuber defeated the stand-up comedian to win Boss Meter, registering his name in history books as the first winner of the competition in the season.

Anurag, who has remained silent in the BB 17 house, is expected to emerge as a dark horse of the show. While he is slowly observing the contestants, netizens believe he has the potential to become a finalist of Bigg Boss 17.

ANURAG DOBHAL BEATS MUNAWAR FARUQUI

Jio Cinema announced the Boss Meter competition after the show was launched on Colors channel. It included Mannara Chopra, Isha Malviya, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Anurag Dobhal in the Twitter-based contest. Soon, it was confirmed that the competition was between UK07 Rider and Munawar as they trended the most and got the majority of the comments.

While Munawar Faruqui was easily leading the contest, Anurag Dobhal turned things and ended up beating him. In a major serve, Babu Bhaiya won Boss Meter in week one, creating history by becoming the first contestant in BB 17 to do so.

The official X handle of JioCinema announced the Boss Meter results on Friday (October 20). The caption for the post read, "Janta has chosen the one! @uk07rider wins the 1st Boss Meter of Bigg Boss 17."

ELVISH YADAV SUPPORTS ANURAG DOBHAL

Anurag and Munawar Faruqui engaged in a war of words over the distribution of household duties in BB 17 house. As he lagged behind the Lock Upp 2 winner, Elvish Yadav extended support to UK07 Rider and asked his followers to vote for him.

"Anurag ko Boss Meter jeetana hai. Tumhe pata hai, Bigg Boss mein Anurag bhai gaya hai. Jaake Twitter bhardo, Jio Cinema mein jaake comment kardo. 'AnuragIsTheBoss' comment kardo, bhai ko Boss Meter jeeta do," Elvish Yadav said in his video. Elvish had created history by becoming the first wildcard contestant to win Bigg Boss.

Elvish beat the likes of Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve and Pooja Bhatt to lift the winner's trophy of Bigg Boss OTT 2.
