Bigg Boss 17 contestant Navid Bole: Salman Khan is back with a blockbuster season of his popular reality show on Indian television. The number one non-fiction show has returned with a bang on Sunday (October 15). The premiere episode has captured the attention of the netizens, leaving them excited for the new season.

WHO IS ENGLISH BABU IN BIGG BOSS SEASON 17?

Who's the English Babu of Bigg Boss 17? Fans have been asking this question ever since Colors channel released a new promo where Salman Khan can be seen interacting with BB 17 contestant.

"I am a known TV personality," the contestant said in his introduction video. Salman Khan reminded him that speaking in English is a violation of the rules of the Bigg Boss 17 house. "Speaking in English is not allowed inside the BB house. You need to learn some words," the Tiger 3 star was heard saying in the viral promo.

Wondering who the contestant is? Well, he is none other than Navid Sole. He made Navid Sole speak Hindi words like 'Niyam ulhanghan, dand, patni vrata."

The official Instagram handle of Colors channel released the promo along with the caption, "Kaun hai yeh English Babu jinhe Salman seekha rahe hai Hindi? Hit 'Okurrr' in the comments if you're excited to meet him."

WHO IS NAVID SOLE?

Navid Sole is a London-based pharmacist, who is of Italian and Persian origin. Aishwarya Sharma corrected his Hindi as he made his way on the stage. He is the only foreign contestant of Bigg Boss 17.

"I am coming to Bigg Boss to have fun, find love and to tear it down. Let's win it absolutely," he said in his video. Navid Sole grabbed eyeballs when he appeared on the show The Apprentice. He is running multiple pharmacies in the UK capital. The pharmacist has over 90k followers on Instagram and he keeps on sharing posts and pictures from his followers.

Navid had earlier shared the reason behind working as a pharmacist. In his post, he wrote, "I get asked why I became a pharmacist and the simple reason is that I enjoy helping the public especially, when it comes to their medical condition, having spent 4 years of my life studying at @kingscollege.london I have been able to utilise my knowledge in helping the public. The end result is the happiness and joy I see on my patients face. During the pandemic us pharmacists have been in the front line 24/7 serving patients and their worries, and I'm so pleased that we have contributed so much during the pandemic and as a pharmacist, this is all I want which is to help, serve and make patients happy (sic).".

Bigg Boss 17 will air on weekdays at 10pm on Colors channel. The reality show will beam at 9pm on weekends on the same channel. Salman Khan will host the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes where the eviction will be announced.
