Bigg Boss 17 contestants list: After a blockbuster Bigg Boss OTT 2, the makers have started preparing for the next season. From Kanwar Dhillon-Alice Kaushik to Mallika Singh-Sumedh Mudgalkar, several known names have been approached for Salman Khan's reality show. The last season on television was a major hit and the production house wants to leave no stone unturned to make BB 17 an entertaining affair.

BIGG BOSS 17 THEME, CONTESTANTS LIST, LAUNCH DATE

Last year, several popular TV names including Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sumbul Touqeer participated in Bigg Boss 16. They made the season a successful one, courtesy of their fights, romance and nok-jhok.

This season will be different as the makers are planning to bring a new concept in BB season 17. It will be 'Jodis vs Singles' as the contestants will lock horns inside the Bigg Boss house. Filmibeat was the first portal to inform viewers about the same, giving them a hint of what to expect in the new season.

We exclusively reported about Pandya Store's Kanwar Dhillon and Alice Kaushik participating in the show. Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin's Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma have also been approached for BB 17.

Seema Haider and her husband Sachin, who have remained in the headlines, have also been offered the show due to their ongoing controversy.

MALLIKA SINGH REACTS TO BIGG BOSS 17 RUMOURS

Speculations have been rife that Mallika and Sumedh will be participating in Bigg Boss 17. While gossip mills suggest that they are a couple, the former co-stars have always denied such rumours. Mallika, who became a household name after playing the role of Radha in RadhKrishn, broke her silence over the conjecture surrounding her participation in Bigg Boss season 17.

The TV diva confirmed that she has been approached for the show. She revealed that she has received an offer from Colors channel and Endemol India; however, she is not keen to take up the show.

Will we see Mallika Singh in Bigg Boss 17? Pat came her reply- NO. "Yes, I have been approached for the show, but am not doing it," she said in a statement as quoted as saying by India Forums.
